Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is a safe hands-on method of natural healing. It will activate, balance and increase the life force within us. Your using your own bodies natural ability to take in positive energies that restore it's ability to heal itself.
 
Reiki is both powerful and gentle. It is a safe, non-invasive form of hands on healing. Reiki is used to relieve pain, strengthen the immune system, rebalance the functioning of the organs, eliminate toxins form the body, calm the mind and emotions, aid in concentration, help in the greiving process and generally accelerate the body's own healing process.
 
Reiki is very safe and gentle and there are no contraindications for using reiki. Reiki improves the results of all other types of healing or medical treatments. It is a wonderful complementary therapy in any healing or wellness program. In cases of chronic or more serious aliments, several sessions are necessary initially and then additional sessions are recommended periodically as the client feels necessary.
 
 
The Reiki Practitioner gently rests her hands over a person's body in a series of hand positions that covers the head, trunk, legs and feet. Reiki can be incorporated into your massage with ease
Energy flows through the practitioners hands to the client's body. . A reiki practitioner receives this ability through a series of attunements from a Reiki Master. Level I allows the practitioner to connect to the reiki channel. Level II enables the practitioner to provide distant or remote healing.
 
 
In general a person who receives reiki experiences a feeling of warmth flowing in and around, thus restoring energy and balance. Most people experience a tremendous sense of calmness and stress relief. Reiki is a safe complementary modality included today in many types of physical or emotional healing.
